Todd Killian

Todd Killian was born, raised, and molded into an adventurous young man in the state of Wisconsin. Growing up in Wisconsin instilled a solid work ethic, character, and of course, passion for the Green Bay Packers, and Wisconsin Badgers. Todd brought these attributes with him from the Midwest to California in 1998 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.

Looking for a challenge and to explore what the west coast had to offer, Todd and his future wife, Cora, landed in Santa Barbara, CA where they established roots close to family for three wonderful years. In 2001, Cora decided her job in the medical device industry was not going to quench her thirst for helping others, and a Masters in Nursing was next on the list from San Francisco State University. Todd transferred within his sports equipment company as a Sales Manager to San Francisco while Cora navigated three years of graduate school to become a nurse. Numerous weekends during this time in San Francisco were spent exploring the beauty of the Lake Tahoe area by sharing ski leases with friends.

Todd and Cora formed a strong relationship with the people and outdoor activities of Lake Tahoe and knew it was the perfect place for them. So after an epic three month backpacking trip in Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Paraguay as a transition, they moved to Truckee, California, a short drive from Lake Tahoe. Todd continued his education with real estate classes, and went on to acquire a California real estate license. Todd added to his real estate proficiency with close mentoring from the senior Brokers at Tahoe Riverfront Realty, two of which have had California real estate licenses for 30 years, another for 25 years. Cora is now a nurse in the ER at Reno’s Washoe Medical Center. Todd and Cora are planning a family, will be investing in real estate opportunities, and plan to call Truckee home. Todd is confident his personal and professional skills will be a resource to clients interested in a wide range of real estate investments ranging from raw land, to homes and condominiums, to commercial properties.
