Geoff Feige Owner/Broker

Born and raised in the mid-Peninsula in a third generation Northern California building family, Geoff has been coming to Lake Tahoe since the 1950's as a child. After graduating from Berkeley in 1973, Geoff came to stay at his parents vacation home in Alpine Meadows with an overnight bag for Labor Day weekend. It was a busy weekend. Bill Chuba was renovating the River Ranch for the grand opening. Diane Keaton and Al Pacino were in Tahoe City filming Godfather Two at the Kaiser Estate (now Fleur-du-Lac). The weather was beautiful. Geoff called his parents to make sure it would be okay to use their house for the Winter and ski. As the resplendent Tahoe Summer manifested itself, the move to Lake Tahoe became full-time.

The next two years were spent directing a sailing school which taught over two hundred North Tahoe residents sailing skills from eight Lasers in the Summer, and skiing and going to night real estate classes in the Winter. Upon obtaining his real esate license in 1976, Geoff started working with Bill Chuba, owner of the River Ranch, at the current location of Tahoe Riverfront Realty. Two years and a Broker's license later, Geoff purchased the company in 1978/79 with a partner, now deceased. With skiing, sailing and college alumni as common denominators, Geoff quickly had a loyal following of clients. Most the clientele are still buying and selling through Tahoe Riverfront Realty twenty plus years, several properties, much profit, and many referrals later.

The brokerage has gained a reputation as being extremely savvy in North Tahoe real estate, as well as having successfully transacted several multi-million dollar investment real estate projects in and out of the Tahoe Basin.
